ABOUT AIM LOW PRODUCTIONS, LLC

Aim Low Productions was started in June, 2004 by Keith Riehn and Robin Parks. Our company name is a direct reference to the need to "aim low" when bowfishing due to the water's refraction of light. Though we are not full time hunters or outdoor video makers, our equipment and attention to detail allow us to produce professional quality outdoor videos. We have recently taken that same approach in bringing our experiences to national television. "Aim Low Bowfishing Journals" can now  be seen on the Outdoor Channel, allowing the us to bring our enthusiasm to your living room.

It all started when our first DVD, "Aim n' Low, Volume I" was released in February, 2005 to high reviews. Many viewers have told us that they feel our video is the best bowfishing video ever produced! Volume II has been even a bigger success as Robin and Keith arrow the BAA World Record Alligator Gar, which weighed a whopping 244.5 lbs. and a state record buffalo.  We are also filming for our first hunting DVD, "Can't Get Enough...", and have already banked some impressive hunting footage.

When it comes to being involved with Aim Low, Larry says, "Whether being the hunter or the camera man, being able to share the time in the woods with someone can not only be fun, but can create great memories."

Eric Gregory

Eric made the commitment to be a part of Aim Low in 2006. He has been a great asset behind the camera filming fish and even came out in front of it to take some of his biggest fish ever. Eric has been hunting for 17 years, successfully taking many species with both gun and bow. For the last 5 of those years, he has also had an interest in filming. On  his involvement with us, Eric said, "What I like about filming and hunting with Aim Low is the chance to share in the moment of excitement with others, and the challenge of catching it all on film. I would love to take a nice buck on film this year." Like Larry, look for Eric to be in front of the camera this season as well.

Charlie has been an active outdoorsman since he was very young. He began with Cub Scouts and graduated to the Boy Scouts of America earning the Eagle Scout award. This allowed him to be very close to the outdoors from the time he was a young boy. Charlie has a passion for bowhunting and videography. He still carries the same feelings that he had when he was fifteen, climbing in the old hedge tree, and waiting for the opportunity to let an arrow fly.

Jake Kerstetter
Springboro, OH

Jake Kerstetter has lived in Ohio his entire life, and currently lives in the SW part of the state with his wife, Jessica, and dog, Hoppus.  Jake was lucky enough to grow up in an outdoors family and his dad took him hunting and fishing starting at a young age. His true passions now are bowhunting and bowfishing, but Jake does find some time to hunt waterfowl and turkeys. Ever since he shot his first carp with a small children's recurve and a generic wooden arrow at age 8, the bow fishing addiction has kept him busy. Jake has been lucky enough to bowfish in quite a few places around the country and take a variety of species along the way. He plans to go to Texas with Robin and Keith this summer.  Fall will find Jake in the Ohio whitetail woods pursuing some of the greatest deer the state has to offer. He has harvested a few nice ones, but just being out there and experiencing the sights and smells of the woods on a cool fall morning is what drags Jake out of bed. Jake says, “I'm excited to be working with the Aim Low crew and hopefully we will be able to show you some adventures on the Aim Low Bowfishing Journals TV show or an upcoming DVD”.

Darrell Schreiber
Fergus Falls, MN

Darrell is a 36 year old assembler/machinist. He has been bowfishing and pursuing big game for 23 years. Darrell has successfully harvested many whitetails, mule deer, caribou, bear, predators, upland game and waterfowl. He has been bowfishing in several states taking common and grass carp, paddlefish, buffalo, long and short nose gar, alligator gar, bowfin and stingrays. Darrell’s addiction would have to be chasing “rollers” (gar) and whitetails. He has yet to set any records, but Darrell knows they are out there. He is looking forward to taking one on film for upcoming videos to share with everyone. Darrell resides with wife, Tammie, and son, Devin (13).

Tammie Schreiber
Fergus Falls, MN

Tammie is a 34 year old office manager. She resides with  husband Darrell, son Devin (13), and 2 dogs Kati (lab) and Buddy (beagle). Tammie’s husband got her into bowfishing 6 years ago. The first couple of times Tammie went out, she brought with a book to read for times when the action wasn't fast and furious. By the 4th time she told Darrell they weren't leaving the lake until the bucket was full. Tammie says, “I was hooked!” She has bowfished in a few different states for common and grass carp, buffalo, bowfin, stingrays, long and short nose gar, alligator gar and paddlefish. Tammie has hunted upland game and has been chasing deer and bear for 4 years, and has already connected with 1 nice 10 pointer. Tammie says, “My next big pursuits will be arrowing an alligator and an antelope.”

Kristen Parks
Hillsboro, MO

Robin's daughter, Kristen (14)  has already taken 5 deer (three of which were in front of a camera) and two turkeys while hunting with a gun. Her first success was the turkey at age 9. The last deer was taken while being filmed for the first Aim Low hunting video. Though pretty nervous in front of the camera while talking, she handled the pressure like a champ at the moment of truth. She told me, "I get too nervous in front of the camera! But it is pretty cool to see you and your deer on the video.Robin says, "I hate to sound like I am bragging, but this girl is really beginning to know what she is doing!" Also, look for her to begin bowfishing in 2007!
