Summary:
There are not that many
bowfishing DVDs on the
market, but the ones I've
seen were typically low
quality. Happily, this
video is not one of them.
The team of Aim-Low
Productions (love the name!)
put together a nicely filmed
DVD that is sure to get any
hard-core bowfisherman in
the mood for a night on the
water. I could not get over
the night-time segment on
Buffalo that made me want to
catch a flight and head down
to Texas for some of that
action!
The video contains 90%
action scenes and 10%
instruction. I found the
instruction to be decent
however the use of
supporting graphics (rather
than just dialogue)along
with some more variety in
equipment and methods would
have put this video over the
top.
The production quality
was well done and the action
was great. This video is a
great bowfishing video and
I'd recommend it to anyone
who is either interested in
bowfishing or is already
smacking fish and loving it
(like me!).
Pros: *Great Action *These
guys are expert bowfisherman
and they love bowfishing
*Well produced
Cons: *could use a litte
more variety, like stalking
carp in waders, shooting
gator gar, stingrays and
sharks, etc. *Would have
liked to see more how-to
information

Title: Aim ‘n Low — DVD
Producer: Aim Low

DVD, $16.99, 80-minutes
I have made my share of
solid fiberglass arrows
splash into the water hoping
to hit a fish. Carp, buffalo
and gar are my regular
targets, but never have I
seen bow-fishing action to
compare to that in this DVD.
Robin Parks and Keith Riehn
travel from the Midwest to
Texas to bring you the most
action-packed bow-fishing
footage there is.
This DVD shows more fish
going into the boat than you
could ever imagine. You will
be amazed by fish so big
that they require two or
even three arrows to subdue.
These guys are great shots
with bow-fishing gear, and
their techniques and gear
are explained throughout the
production.
If you are a bowfishing fan,
then you will enjoy this
DVD. I have shot quite a few
nice fish with a bow, but I
have never shot one that
took two men to get into the
boat. That is a routine
problem for these guys.
